PATRICK - Lou Eva Teal, 78, died Tuesday, March 29, 2005.

A funeral service was held at 4 p.m. Thursday, March 31 from Patrick Baptist Church. Burial followed in the Patrick Cemetery.

Memorials may be made to Patrick Baptist Church, c/o Janie Rivers, P.O. Box 23, Patrick, S.C. 29584; or Hospice of Chesterfield County, P.O. Box 293, Chesterfield, S.C. 29709.

Born in Patrick, Mrs. Teal was a daughter of the late Cord C. and Bessie Jones Cranford, and was the widow of Luther Junior Teal. She was a member of Patrick Baptist Church.

Surviving are six sons, James C. (Lois) O'Neal, Darrell (Gale) Teal and Roger Teal all of Patrick, Dallas (Linda) O'Neal of Lamar, Wayne Teal of Wadesboro, N.C., and George Teal of Lilesville, N.C.; three brothers, Blease Cranford of Bethune, and Billy Cranford and Sammy Cranford both of Hartsville; four sisters, Peggy Jean Shaft, Joann Johnson and Carolyn Jackson all of Patrick, and Myrtle Jones of Hartsville; 21 grandchildren; and 25 great-grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by three sons, Coleman O'Neal, Ronnie Eugene O'Neal and Kenneth Carol Teal; a daughter, Debbie Christine Teal; and a daughter-in-law, Nancy Faye Teal.

Arrangements were entrusted to Miller-Rivers-Caulder Funeral Home.
