WALLACE - Raymond C. Rackley, 91, died Friday, Nov. 18, 2005 at Harnett Manor Nursing Home, Lillington, N.C.

A graveside funeral service was held at 3 p.m. Sunday, Nov. 20 in Riverview Memorial Park with the Rev. Morris Andrews officiating.

Memorials may be made to a church or charity of one's choice.

Mr. Rackley was a retired poultry farmer and a long time member of Poston Baptist Church. He was the widower of Della Snipes Rackley.

Surviving are a daughter, Sylvia Rackley (Bill) Goodnight of Lillington, N.C.; a son, Raymond C. (Julia) Rackley Jr. of Monroe, N.C.; a stepson, John A. (Shirley) Merritt of Callahan, Fla.; grandchildren and great-grandchildren.
