CHARLOTTE, N.C. - Annie Mae Lear Oliver, 93, died Monday, July 10, 2006 in her sleep at Transitional Health Care, Kannapolis, N.C.

A funeral service was held at 11 a.m. Thursday, July 13 from the Dilworth Chapel of Hankins & Whittington Funeral Service. Burial followed in Sunset Memory Gardens.

Born in Chesterfield County, Mrs. Oliver was a daughter of the late David and Nora Lear, and was the widow of Jadie Oliver.

Surviving are two sons, Johnny Ervin Oliver and James Robert Oliver; five sisters, Ethel Patterson, Inez Deese, Ruth Mc-Manus, Jerrie Ruff and Marie Finnason; a brother, Jack Lear; seven grandchildren; nine great-grandchildren; and many nieces and nephews.

She was preceded in death by a son, William Boyce Oliver; a daughter, Laura Coley; a grandson, Jamie Oliver; and a granddaughter, Wanda Sutton.

Arrangements were entrusted to Hankins & Whittington Funeral Service.
