HEATH SPRINGS - Margaret Elliott Branham, 82, died Thursday, Nov. 9, 2006.

A funeral service was held at 2 p.m. Saturday, Nov. 11 from Flint Ridge Baptist Church with the Revs. Kelvin Hinson and Steve Neal officiating. Burial followed in the church cemetery.

Memorials may be made to Flint Ridge Baptist Church, Building Fund or Family Life Center, 1850 Flint Ridge Road, Heath Springs, S.C. 29058.

Born in Lancaster County, Mrs. Branham was a daughter of the late Walter Elliott and Pearl Cook Elliott, and was the widow of Tommy Branham. She retired from Springs Industries and was a member of Flint Ridge Baptist Church where she was active with adult Sunday School and Young at Heart.

Surviving are seven children, Robert (Vicky) Branham, David (Evon) Branham and Shelby B. Pierce of Heath Springs, Eugene (Gail) Branham of Westville, Barbara B. (Johnny) Robinson of Cheraw, Louise B. (Aaron) Knight of Kershaw, and Geneva B. (Dennis) of Pageland; a brother, John (Dessie) Elliott of Rock Hill; 22 grandchildren; 44 great-grandchildren; and five great-great-grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by a brother, David Elliott.

Arrangements were entrusted to Hartley Funeral Home.
