HARTSVILLE - Elizabeth “Lib” Smith Kissiah, 74, died Friday, Nov. 17, 2006.

A funeral service was held at 3 p.m. Monday, Nov. 20 from Norton Funeral Home Chapel the Revs. Ricky Bledsoe and Billy Gillium and Mrs. Olivia Brock officiating. Burial followed in Pine Ridge Holiness Church Cemetery.

Memorials may be made to Light Of The Way Holiness Church, c/o Angel Isgett, 500 Emmary St., Hartsville, S.C. 29550.

Born in Hartsville, Mrs. Kissiah was a daughter of the late Benjamin Lucas and Mary Galloway Smith. She had retired from Sonoco Products Co., was a member of the Light of The Way Holiness Church and was a lifetime member of the Lake Robinson Rescue Squad.

Surviving are her husband, Jessie Loraine (Pat) Kissiah of Hartsville; two daughters, Mary (Frank) Williams of Hartsville, and Joy (Joel) Oliver of Chesterfield; three sons, Johnny Kissiah and Sidney (Cynthia) Kissiah of Hartsville; two sisters, Sadie Bass and Vandetta (Tommy) Livingston of Hartsville; a brother, Jack (Martha) Smith of Hartsville; four grandchildren, Michelle Shoemake (Ricky) Byrd, Chris Kissiah and Matt Kissiah of Hartsville, and Jason (Jessie) Oliver of Chesterfield; and two great-grandchildren, Brenton Shoemake of Hartsville, and Baylor Oliver of Chesterfield.

She was preceded in death by three brothers and two sisters.

Arrangements were entrusted to Norton Funeral Home.
