HARTSVILLE - Dorothy “Dot” Outlaw McCray, 72, died Friday, Nov. 24, 2006.

A funeral service was held at 5 p.m. Sunday, Nov. 26 from Brown-Pennington-Atkins Funeral Home Chapel with the Rev. Ladell Humphries officiating.

Memorials may be made to the North Hartsville Baptist Church, 1117 Patrick Hwy., Hartsville, S.C. 29550.

Born in Chesterfield County, Mrs. McCray was a daughter of the late J. L. and Dollie Mae Adams Outlaw. She was a member of North Hartsville Baptist Church and a longtime resident of Hartsville. Mrs. McCray was a longtime employee of Coker's Department Store and the Beacon Restaurant.

Surviving are two sons, Bo McCray of Knoxville, Tenn., and Keith McCray of Mayo, Fla.; a brother, J.C. Outlaw of Roanoke, Va.; and four grandchildren, Austin Cade McCray, Neal McCray, David McCray and Ashley McCray.

Arrangements were entrusted to Brown-Pennington-Atkins Funeral Home.
