BENNETTSVILLE - Mrs. Letha Fowler Crowley, 82, died Sunday, Dec. 31, 2006.

A funeral service was held Wednesday, Jan. 3, 2007, at Whitner-Evans Funeral Home with burial following in Sunset Memorial Park.

Born in Tabor City, N.C., Mrs. Crowley was a daughter of the late Coley Sr. and Flossie Harrelson Fowler. She was a former sales clerk with B.C. Moore's. A Baptist faith, she was a former member of the W.M.U. and GA leader. She was also a former Girl Scout leader.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Jennings Crowley.

Surviving are a daughter, Lisa Crowley Jost Hancock of Cheraw; brothers, Coley Fowler and Nathan Crowley, both of Santee, and Duward Fowler of Jonesville, N.C.; and grandchildren, Joshua Jost and Mike Jost.

Whitner-Evans Funeral Home of Bennettsville served the family.
