Funeral services will be held today, at Pleasant Hill United Methodist Church with Rev. Yvonne Hechler and Rev. Earl Bradshaw officiating. Burial will follow in the church cemetery.
The family will greeted friends Aug. 1, 6-8 p.m. at Leavitt Funeral Home and other times at the home.
Jerry was a son of the late Samuel Thomas Timmons, Jr. and Emily Wilson. He was retired from APAC Construction and was a member of Pleasant Hill Methodist Church.
Surviving is his wife, Frankie Lowery Timmons of the home; his children, Sharon (Calvin) Chapman of Charlestone, Jerry (Diane) Timmons, Jr. and Johnni (Todd) Deese all of McFarlan, NC; his brother, Sam Timmons of McFarlan; 13 grandchildren and two great-grandchildren.

Leavitt Funeral Home was in charge of arrangements.
