SOCIETY HILL- Carolyn Segars Keith Steen, 74, died Feb 10, 2008.

Funeral services were held at 3 p.m. Feb. 13 at Edward's Chapel Baptist Church in Patrick.

Born in Darlington Co., she was a daughter of the late James Ray and Nettie Blackmon Segars. She attended Edwards Chapel Baptist Church. She was a loving mother, sister and grandmother and a best friend.

Surviving are her sons and daughter-in-law, Charlie Keith of Society Hill, SC, Chuck and Jackie Keith of Society Hill, SC; daughter and special friend, Kathy Smith and Sandy Johnson of Society Hill, SC; sisters and brothers-in-law, Ermine and Arthur Tyner of Patrick, SC, Lucille Hall of Hartsville, SC, Mary Alice and Tilman Hall of Lydia, SC, Barbara Atkinson of Middendorf, SC, Shirley and Buddy Davis of Hartsville, SC; brothers, Johnny Segars of Lydia, SC, James Segars of Lee Co., SC; step-brother, Bozie Vinson of Hartsville, SC; grandchildren, Wendy Gaddy, T. J. Smith , Cody Keith, Davin Keith, Travis Jordan, Jimmy Jordan, Stacy Jordan.

She was preceded in death by her son, David Keith; daughter, Janice Jordan.

Brown-Pennington-Atkins Funeral Home in Hartsville was in charge of arrangements.
