Funeral services will be TODAY at 4 p.m. Sept. 11, at Cedar Creek Baptist Church. Burial will follow in the church cemetery.
Visitation was 6–8 p.m. Sept. 10, at Miller-Rivers-Caulder Funeral Home.
Mr. Huggins was born July 12, 1933 a son of the late Lide and Pearl Talbert Huggins. He was a graduate of McBee High School and a retired employee of Burlington Industries. Mr. Huggins was a U.S. Army veteran of the Korean Conflict. Robert was preceded in death by four brothers; Albert, Therell, John, and Houston Huggins, and by a sister, Lois Hall.
Surviving is his wife, Faye Stroud Huggins of the home; three stepsons, Carroll G. (Margaret) Jenkins Jr. of Helena, MT, James A. “Jimmy” (Cheryl) Jenkins of Monks Corner, and John N. Jenkins of Chesterfield; two step grandchildren, Brian and Dillon Jenkins; a brother, Jennings Huggins of Sumter; two sisters, Silveree H. Gainey of Bethune, and Nancy H. Reid of Columbia and other relatives and friends.
Miller-Rivers-Caulder Funeral Home was in charge of arrangements.
