(CHESTERFIELD) Margaret Rhynes Crawford, 75, died Nov. 12, 2008.

Funeral services were at 2 p.m. Nov. 15, at Miller-Rivers-Caulder Funeral Home Chapel. Burial followed in Westfield Creek Baptist Church Cemetery.

Visitation was 6-8 p.m. Friday at Miller-Rivers-Caulder Funeral Home.

Mrs. Crawford was born Oct. 12, 1933, a daughter of the late May D. and Mamie Catherine Lee Rhynes. She was a homemaker and a member of Westfield Creek Baptist Church. Margaret was married to the late Vonelm “Shack” Crawford and was also preceded in death by her daughter, Margaret Ethel Ammons; three sons; Lee, Richard, and Loman “Red” Crawford; four brothers, Casper, Bradley, Robert and Jake Rhynes, and two sisters, Estelle Davis and Annie Vee Brock.

Surviving is a son, Stan (Cheryl) Crawford of Chesterfield; three grandchildren, Andrew, Sarah, and Stephen Crawford of Cheraw; a great-grandchild, Catherine Crawford; three brothers, Jerry Rhynes of Temecula, Ca., Mack Rhynes of Sebring, Fla., and Alexander Lee of Gurley, Ala.; and a sister, Katherine Wallace of Oviedo, Fla.

Miller-Rivers-Caulder Funeral Home was in charge of arrangements.
