Dear Editor,
I would appreciate it very much if you would ask five other people to join us in a letter campaign to Senator Lindsey Graham and Congressman Mick Mulvaney stating your opposition towards the US Postal Service considering closing our Downtown Post Office.
With the postal service cost-cutting and downsizing, it doesn’t make sense to spend a ton of money on the Hwy #9 facility and close downtown. The downtown post office has 3880 sq.ft. in the basement that is not being used. There are no parking problems and citizens can walk to this location. Very little money would have to be spent on it to utilize the basement.
Send a letter in your own words. A decision is going to be made in March. Your involvement is needed. Thank you for your help.
