Funeral services were at 3 p.m. Nov. 30, at Miller-Rivers-Caulder Funeral Home Chapel. Burial followed in Chatham Hill Memorial Gardens.
Visitation was 2-3 p.m. Sunday prior to the service at the funeral home.
Mr. Ford was born Jan. 24, 1933 a son of the late John Bruce and Roser Lee Ford. He was a retired employee of Carolina Canners and a member of North Cheraw Baptist Church. Fred was married to the late Sara Louise Davis Ford and was also preceded in death by two sons, Larry and Bruce Ford.
Surviving is a son, Freddie (Debbie) Ford of Chesterfield; a grandson, Banyon Ford of Columbia; two granddaughters, Christy and Julia Ford; and a sister, Maddie Huckabee of Charleston.
Miller-Rivers-Caulder Funeral Home was in charge of arrangements.
