Primary elections for five seats on the Chesterfield County School Board will be held June 12 of this year. The filing period for these positions opens Friday, March 16, 2012, at noon. Filing will close at noon on Friday, March 30.
Open for re-election are districts 4, 5, 6, 7 and 8.
Chad L. Vick, chairman of the Chesterfield County School Board, currently holds the seat in District 4. Jamie D. Wayne holds the seat in District 5 and James N. Sweeney in District 6.
Representing District 7 is Shannon M. Polson, and representing District 8 is James C. Williamson.
