The Cheraw Police Department recently made the following arrests:
• Maurice Brown, 28, of Duckpond Road, Cheraw, was arrested for trespassing.
• Lonny Earl Wilson, 28, Fireman Road, Chesterfield, was arrested for assault.
• Micah G. Winecoff, 26, of Oscar Road, Zionville, N.C., was arrested for simple possession of marijuana, and possession and drug paraphernalia.
• Robert Lide, 52, of Legrand St., Cheraw, was arrested for possession of drug paraphernalia.
• Ricky Bridges, 49, of Soon Circle, Cheraw, was arrested for trespassing, and resisting arrest.
Arrest reports published in the Cheraw Chronicle are copied from local law enforcement records. Reports include both arrests and criminal summons such as citations. The Chronicle lists them all as arrests. People charged are presumed innocent until determined to be guilty by a court of law.
