The deadline to apply for the Northeastern Technical College Entrepreneurship Development Grant is Friday, June 15.

Established by Continuum Performance Systems, the grant is open to any student taking classes at NETC or an alumnus ready to pursue a business venture or further develop an existing business. Recipients will receive a seed money grant and hands-on guidance from business and marketing experts to help them achieve success and create jobs.

An application can be filled out and submitted online by going to NETC’s website, www.netc.edu. Applications are being accepted now through June 15.

Applicants will also submit an executive summary about their business. A sample executive summary is available on the application website.

Applicants must submit an executive summary in order to be considered for the grant.

The NETC Entrepreneurship Development Board will screen applications and select finalists who will be invited to present their ideas and business plans to the board. The board will use information gathered during the presentations to select the grant award recipients.

“Northeastern Technical College is excited to be a part of this venture for economic and community growth,” said Ron Bartley, president of NETC. “The Entrepreneurship Development Fund will greatly benefit alumni and students of the College in achieving their dreams and business goals, as well as becoming contributing members of the community.”
