Joseph Karl Loesch, 89, died Wednesday, June 13, 2012.

The family received friends from 4 to 7 p.m. on Monday, June 18, including a Rosary service at 6 p.m. at Kiser Funeral Home in Cheraw.

Born in Vienna, Austria, on Feb. 16, 1923, he was a son of the late Albert and Marie Koller Loesch. Mr. Loesch became an American Citizen in 1959. He was retired from INA Bearing. He worked at Cheraw Country Club and was an avid golfer.

Surviving are his wife, Dolores M. “Dee” Loesch of the home; sons, Anthony G. Loesch of Kernersville, N.C., CPO Michael J. Loesch (US Navy 22 years) of Lemoore, Calif.; daughters, Christina M. (Jeff) Rosenfeldt of Cincinnati, Ohio, Karen M. (Dominick) Costanzo of Simi Valley, Calif.; a brother, Albert Loesch of Vienna, Austria; 5 grandchildren and 3 great grandchildren, also several nieces and nephews in Austria.

In lieu of flowers, donations may be sent to St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital, 501 St Jude Place, Memphis, TN 38105.
