The Cheraw Chronicle and Chesterfield Advertiser is your community newspaper. One of the ways we involve ourselves is by running the events and happenings of the community in our weekly calendar. FISH DINNER - LONG MIDDLE SCHOOL

PEACH FESTIVAL

BCACM ANNUAL VBS/BACK TO SCHOOL BASH

WHAT: The Bennettsville-Cheraw Cooperative Ministry announces its annual vacation Bible school picnic and back to school bash. Each church is responsible for providing chaperones for all children and youth attending. During the festivities, The Honorable Judge Nan Fleming and Marlboro County School District Board member will motivate the youth and children with an inspiring message in hopes of encouraging students to excel. JEFFERSON 2ND ANNUAL BLUE JAY FESTIVAL

WHAT: The 2nd Annual Blue Jay Festival will begin on Saturday, October 6, 2012 with a softball tournament and the Miss Blue Jay Pageant. Festivities will continue Friday, October 12, 2012 through Saturday, October 13, 2012 with Jefferson’s Got Talent, 5K Run/Walk, the Blue Jay Parade and ending with a dance on Saturday night.
