Roy Allen Barry, 63, died Wednesday, July 18, 2012.
Visitation will be from 6 to 7:30 p.m. Friday, July 20, at Miller-Rivers-Caulder Funeral Home in Chesterfield.
A funeral service will be held at a later date in Pennsylvania.
Mr. Barry was born Nov. 16, 1948, in Mt. Top, Penn., a son of the late Albert and Veronica Nescavage Barry. He was a retired foreman with Cornell Iron Works. Roy was an avid outdoorsman, and enjoyed hunting, fishing, and archery. He also enjoyed woodworking and making wood crafts for his family and friends. Roy was a member of the Chesterfield Family YMCA. In addition to his parents, Roy was also preceded in death by a brother, Albert Barry and by two sisters, Ruth Dantone and Cora Barry.
Survivors include his wife, Caroline Perkowski Barry of the home; two sons, Joseph Martin of Berwick, Penn., and George Martin; three daughters, Kimberly Spohn of Newmanstown, Penn., Suzanne Hines of Beaver Meadows, Penn., and Nicole Barry; four brothers, Wade, Wayne, Charles, and Robert Barry; three sisters, Verna Barry, Eva Myers, and Margaret Dorbin; and eight grandchildren.
