The Columbia Philatelic Society (CPS) will hold its annual Summer Stamp and Postcard Show Aug. 18 and 19 this year at Spring Valley High School in Columbia.
This event will have professional stamp and postcard dealers offering a broad array of material for sale. This show will feature multi-frame exhibits of stamps and covers, provided by CPS members, and a program on Saturday morning honoring the 100th anniversary of the Girl Scouts of America and the Boy Scouts of American Eagle Scout Program. The scouting theme continues with issuing of two specially designed cachets with scouting pictorials that will be available for purchase.
The show will be a Spring Valley High School, 120 Sparkleberry Lane, from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. on Aug. 18, and 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. on Aug. 19. Admission is free and there will be food available both days.
