Charleston artist Joyce Hall will return to Cheraw on Sept. 21-23 for a three-day workshop.
Hall is an international award winning oil painter and has exhibited in galleries and museums nationally. A complete schedule of classes can be seen at www.thestudiosc.com.
The focus of the September workshop is Drawing with a Brush and Custom Color Mixing. Instruction will cover traditional drawing techniques using a brush and oil paints. Also included will be the use of different brushes and color mixing utilizing the taught techniques. Students will have the opportunity to mix custom colors and learn the process of tubing colors.
The workshop will be held in the Cheraw Police Department Community Room, located at 258 Second St., from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m. Cost for the three-day workshop is $195. A supply list will be provided upon registration.
