The following arrests were recently made by the Cheraw Police Department:

• Nick Marcus Shields Jr., 18, of 419 Old Cash Road, Cheraw, was arrested on a charge of simple possession of marijuana.

• Andrew Lee Atkinson, 22, of 9035 Hwy 15 North, Bishopville, S.C., was arrested on a charge of public drunk.

• Mikita Renee Smith, 26, of 165 Harris Road., Cheraw, was arrested on a charge of assault and battery 3rd degree.

• Mark Eldon Sellers, 45, of 217 Valley Lane Road, Cheraw, was arrested on a charge of manufacturing meth.

• Franklin Keith Sowell, 45, of 8 Zion St., Cheraw, was arrested on a charge of criminal domestic violence.

• Billie Jo Moore, 48, of 54 Lynn Ave., Cheraw, was arrested on charges of giving false information and driving under suspension.

• Michael Termaine Smith, 29, of 137 Smith Lane, Cheraw, was arrested on a charge of pedestrian drunk.

• Emanuel Singleton, 35, of 145 Carroll St., Cheraw, was arrested on a charge of public drunk.

• Ronnie S. Singleton, 45, homeless, was arrested on charges of resisting arrest and disorderly conduct.

Arrest reports published in the Cheraw Chronicle are copied from local law enforcement records. Reports include both arrest and criminal summons such as citations. The Chronicle lists them all as arrests. People charged are presumed innocent until determined to be guilty by a court of law.
