Mildred Therrell Taylor, 88, died Tuesday, Aug. 21, 2012.
Funeral services were held Friday, Aug. 24, at Miller-Rivers-Caulder Funeral Home Chapel in Chesterfield. Interment was followed in the Brown Springs Baptist Church Cemetery, Patrick. Visitation was held Thursday, Aug. 23, at the funeral home.
Taylor was born April 20, 1924, in Chesterfield County, a daughter of the late Lester Huntley Therrell, and Bessie Hooks Therrell. She was a homemaker and a member of Mt. Olive Baptist Church. In addition to her parents, Taylor was also preceded in death by three brothers, Lloyd, Lynwood, and L. H. Therrell and by two sisters, Marcille Jones and Glennie Walters.
She is survived by children, Robert Taylor of Salisbury, N.C., Don Hendricks, Deborah Hendricks, and Barbara Shaw all of Patrick and one sister, Margaret Fallaw of Patrick. Taylor also had 13 grandchildren, a number of great grandchildren, and several great, great grandchildren.
Miller-Rivers-Caulder Funeral Home served the Taylor family.
