Addie Annie Mae Marshall, 85, died Saturday, Aug. 25, 2012.
Services were held on Thursday, Aug. 30, by Flemming Funeral Home followed by burial at McLean Grove Baptist Church Cemetary.
Marshall was born May 6, 1927, in Chesterfield County. She was the daughter of the late Harry and Tressie Marshall.
She was a member of McLain Grove Baptist Church, Cheraw, and served faithfully. Later, she migrated to Brooklyn, New York and became an active church member at Tabernacle of Prayer For All People, Jamaica, New York. At the time of Addie’s passing, she was a member of Faith Chapel of Winston Salem, North Carolina.
Marshall is survived by a sister, Celie Burch of Ruby; a daughter, Linda Marshall; two grandchildren, two adopted grandchildren, two adopted great grandchildren, all of Winston Salem, N.C.; oldest friend, Sister Johnnie Mae Pough and a host of other relatives and friends.
