In conjunction with CarolinaFest, Chesterfield’s annual 5K will be held Saturday, Oct. 6. It will be presented by Chesterfield General Hospital and Care South Carolina.
The race will begin at 8 a.m. The registration fee is $15 for each person ($12 for YMCA members) through Sept. 30. Families are encouraged to participate with a special family discount. Late registration begins Oct. 1, and runs through race day with a fee of $25 each person ($20 for members).
All participants must be registered by 7:40 a.m. on Oct. 6. T-shirts are guaranteed to all pre-registered racers. Top male and female finishers will be awarded in seven age categories.
