Was your financial aid award letter received too late to register for fall semester classes? Would you like to take another course this semester? Do you have friends or family members who want to start school now, instead of waiting for next semester?

Fall “minimester” at Northeastern Technical College in Cheraw is the answer to all the above questions. These eight week college credit courses offered online by NETC will begin Sept. 24.

New or returning students should register Sept. 19, from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. and 4 to 6 p.m. at the Student Services Office.

Students who are currently enrolled full time (taking at least 15 credit hours) can add a minimester course with no additional tuition fees. Current students can see their advisors to add a class.

Financial Aid is available, but applications are required and must be submitted in advance.

New students can submit applications for admission online through Sept. 25 by visiting the Admissions page of the college website and clicking on “Apply Online Now.”

Paper based applications are available and will be accepted at any of the college campuses in Pageland, Cheraw, Bennettsville or Dillon. For more information, call 1-800-921-7399 and choose option 1 for admissions.

A paper application is also available by visiting the Admission page of the college website and clicking on “Download Application.”

Current students interested in adding another class should see their advisor. There are no additional tuition charges to add a summer minimester course for students who are enrolled full time.
