Q. “Which of the presidential candidates do you think benefited most from their party’s national convention?”

“I’m gonna have to say Obama. Romney was like a joke or a bad movie. I didn’t know Clint Eastwood was in the business of making bad movies. I think that lost the election for Romney; along with his lack of foreign policy and absence of a plan to stimulate the economy. I really wanted to like Romney, but I’ll choose the lesser of two evils.”

Cheraw, S.C.

“Well, I’m a Republican. So, I’ll have to go with the Republicans.”

Richard Johnson

Cheraw, S.C.

“The Democratic Convention was a lot better, a lot of stuff was explained better. Michelle, Biden, former President Clinton and the President, are all wonderful speakers. We didn’t get a whole lot coming from the other side.”

Ted Bradley

Cheraw, S.C.

“Neither one of them have gotten a whole lot.”

Darlington, S.C.

“I think both parties did a good job of promoting themselves. But, I favor the Democrats.”
