Wilbur David Bouknight, 88, died Saturday, Sept. 22, 2012.

Graveside service will be held 3 p.m. Monday, Oct. 1, at the First Baptist Church Cemetery, Pageland.

Bouknight was born Nov. 5, 1923, in West Columbia, S.C., a son of the late Mike and Melissa Buff Bouknight. He was a retired shoe salesman, and a WWII U. S. Army Veteran. In addition to his parents, Wilbur was also preceded in death by his wife, Lois Walters Bouknight.

Survivors include a brother-in-law, Don (Doris) Walters of Lancaster, sisters-in-law, Laura W. Brock of Cheraw, and Carolyn W. (John) Sanders of Matthews, N.C., also a number of nieces and nephews.

Miller-Rivers-Caulder Funeral Home, Chesterfield, is serving the family.
