Belinda Gale Rivers, 43, died Tuesday, Sept. 25, 2012.

A funeral service will be held 3 p.m., Thursday, Sept. 27, at Cross Roads Baptist Church, Ruby.

Interment will follow in the church cemetery.

Visitation will be held Thursday, Sept. 27, prior to the service in the Church Family Life Center.

Rivers was born March 13, 1969, in Pageland, a daughter of Linda Jenkins Owens and James Driggers. She was a graduate of Chesterfield High School and was an Emergency Medical Technician. Rivers was employed by Sandhill Ambulance Service. She was a member of Cross Roads Baptist Church. Rivers was an avid Gamecock fan.

Survivors include a husband, David Rivers of Ruby, one son, Joshua Scott (Tiffany) Taylor of Pageland, one granddaughter, a mother and stepfather, Linda and Cliff Owens of Cheraw, father, James Driggers of Chesterfield, two brothers, Buck Owens of Cheraw, and Chris Purvis of Wallace, three sisters, Dorothy S. (Robert) Hancock of Mt. Croghan, Lisa Owens Walters of Cheraw, and Kimberly S. (Jimmy) Lisenby of Trenton, special friend, Randall Gibson of Ruby, also many aunts, uncles, and cousins.

Miller-Rivers-Caulder Funeral Home, Chesterfield, is serving the family.
