Dianne Parker Blackwell, 60, died Friday, Sept. 21, 2012, at CMC Main, Charlotte, N.C.
Graveside services for Blackwell were held Monday, Sept. 24, at Lancaster Memorial Park, Lancaster.
Blackwell was the daughter of the late Freddie Davis and Doris Parker Davis. She was born on Dec. 12, 1951 in Charlotte, N.C. Blackwell graduated from Barr Street High School, Lancaster, class of 1970. She received her Associates Degree from York Technical College in Rock Hill. She was a member of the Church of Living Waters, Charlotte, N.C. Blackwell was employed with Carolina Community Actions of York County.
She is survived by her husband, Alcolman Blackwell; a son, Rafeal Blackwell, Manhattan, N.Y.; a daughter, Leslie Williams (Andre), Port Charlotte, Fla.; a granddaughter, mother, Doris Davis, Charlotte, N.C.; a brother, Lerry Davis, Charlotte, N.C.; a sister, Regina Newman (Ray), Charlotte, N.C.; mother-in-law, Lillie Bell Blackwell, Florence; and a host of family and friends.
Flemming Funeral Home was in charge.
