Thomas “Tommy” Jarrell Jordan, 56, died Friday, Oct. 12, 2012.

A funeral service will be held 1 p.m. Tuesday, Oct. 16, at the Old St. David’s Episcopal Church, a committal service will be held in the Old St. David’s Cemetery.

The family will receive friends from 5 to 7 p.m., Monday, Oct. 15, at Kiser Funeral Home, Cheraw.

Born in Whiteville, N.C., he was a son of the late Walter Hadley Jordan Sr. and Virginia Mae Jarrell Jordan. He was a carpenter and loved working with his hands. He was preceded in death by his parents listed above and a son, Hadley Aaron Jordan.

Surviving are his daughters, Mary Hannah Jordan and Emily Jarrell Jordan both of Cheraw, brothers, Walter “Buck” H Jordan Jr. of Wingate, N.C., Michael “Mike” L. Jordan of Cheraw, Robin “Bob” M. Jordan of Augusta, Ga., and his former wife, Karen Kissiah of Cheraw.
