Melba Sue Luther Johns, 54, died Tuesday, Oct. 30, 2012, in Conway.
Funeral services were held Nov. 2, at Westfield Creek Baptist Church, Cheraw.
Interment followed in the church cemetery.
Visitation was held Nov. 1, at Miller-Rivers-Caulder Funeral Home, Chesterfield.
Johns was born Feb. 5, 1958, in Asheboro, N.C., a daughter of the late Elijah and Ruth Clifton Luther. She was a homemaker. In Addition to her parents Johns was also preceded in death by a brother Larry Luther.
Survivors include a husband: Jack Johns of the home, three sons: Tony East and Michael East of High Point, N.C., and Jessie Chrisco of Sea Grove, N.C., one daughter: Robin Chriscoe of Conway, two grandchildren, one brother: Danny Luther of Asheboro, N.C., one sister: Sissy Luther of Asheboro, N.C., and mother-in-law: Ruby L. Johns of Cheraw.
Miller-Rivers-Caulder Funeral Home, Chesterfield, is serving the family.
