Wesley L. “Buck” Adams, 78, of Kannapolis, N.C., died on Sunday, Nov. 4, 2012, at Transitional Health Service in Kannapolis where he was a patient.
A graveside service for Adams will be held at 2 p.m. on Thursday, Nov. 8, at Crossroad Baptist Church Cemetery in Ruby, with Rev. Ladell Humphries officiating.
Adams was born on June 15, 1934, in Chesterfield County, a son of the late Earl M. and Minnie Lee Hancock Adams. He was retired from Cannon Mills in Kannapolis, N.C. and was a veteran of the Korean War serving in the US Navy.
Adams is survived by two brothers; Nolan Adams of Harstville, Caston Adams of Chesterfield, and several nieces and nephews.
