The Fifteenth Annual Memorial Candle Lighting Service will be held at 7 p.m. on Thursday, Jan. 10, 2013, in the Morris Funeral Cottage Chapel. Morris Funeral Cottage will honor those who departed this life in 2012 during this hour-long service. Feel free to attend dressed as you are. The general public is invited to attend.
This year’s program will feature an uplifting message of hope and inspiration by Rev. Albert Tucker of Pleasant Grove A.M.E. Zion Church. Bishop Toney DeWitt from Goodman Creek Baptist Church will serve as liturgist. Dennis Hardison of A New Creation will be the musician.
