Cheraw, SC-William L. “Billy” Oakley, 74, died Monday, January 21, 2013. Born in Chesterfield, SC he was the son of the late Luther and Violia Chewning Oakley. He was retired from Spartan Foods where he was a District Manager. He was a member of Brocks Mill Baptist Church, Cheraw, SC.
Surviving are his son, Keith Oakley of Cheraw, SC, a sister, Gloria Jean Brewer of Bishopville, SC, a granddaughter, Lela Oakley of Cheraw, SC and a life companion Sue Wallace Anderson.
The family will receive friends 12 noon to 2:00 PM, Wednesday, January 23, 2013 at Kiser Funeral Home, Cheraw, SC. A funeral service will be held at 2:00 PM, Wednesday, January 23, 2013in the Chapel of Kiser Funeral Home. Burial will be in Brocks Mill Baptist Church Cemetery, Cheraw, SC.
