COLUMBIA — Lauren Mims Smith of Cheraw was named to the president’s honor roll and the dean’s list for the fall semester 2008 at the University of South Carolina.

Lauren is a junior majoring in early childhood education. She is a 2006 graduate of Cheraw High School.

Smith is the daughter of Lee and Donna Smith of Cheraw and the granddaughter of Roy Smith and Jerry Mims, also of Cheraw.
