Pathfinders United sponsor their first annual AAU Basketball Invitational Tournament
On July 11, 2009 The Pathfinders United sponsored their first annual AAU Basketball Invitational tournament, with teams from North and South Carolina. There were two different divisions, 14 and under and 15-17. The Pathfinders United team won the 14 and under and the Marlboro All-stars won the 15-17 division. The Pathfinders United AAU season ended with a tournament in Florence July 17-18, 2009. The coaches for the Pathfinders United teams, 14 and under were Mark Melton and 15-17 John Coachman. The Pathfinders United would like to thank their sponsors: Chesterfield County school district (Cheraw High School), Wal-Mart of Cheraw, Sams Club, and Hardee’s of Cheraw.
