Each year the South Carolina Association for Pupil Transportation (SCAPT) accepts nominations for various awards pertaining to transportation of the students throughout the state of South Carolina.
One of those awards, the Humanitarian Award, is given to anyone who has performed in a manner as to have a positive and dramatic impact on the pupil transportation system and their community.
