Hospice of Chesterfield County Executive Director John Douglas was recently reelected to the Board of Directors of The Carolinas Center for Hospice and End-of-Life Care. The Carolinas Center champions the highest quality end-of-life care across every stage of life by providing leadership, partnership, education and resources for member hospice agencies in South and North Carolina.

Douglas, who also serves as chairman of the organization’s S.C. Public Policy committee, was one of four individuals nominated for two seats representing South Carolina on the board. The organization’s member hospice providers elected two nominees to serve three-year terms.

Douglas has been employed with Hospice of Chesterfield County since 1992 and has served as the agency’s Executive Director since 2000.
