CHERAW – It is often said that one person can make a difference in the lives of others or the world. The Chesterfield County for Jesus team is making a big difference and has implemented a new free Bible School program that is geared toward today’s Christians.

“The purpose of this Bible School is to offer those that want to make a difference, the opportunity to be empowered by God’s Word and to believe for a great revival in our land,” said Pastor Allen Usher of Maranatha Family Center. He continued, “This Bible School will also help today’s generation of Christians to rise up and reclaim our country for Jesus Christ through their God given talents.”

According to Usher, the first semester of classes will begin on Tuesday, Jan. 12 at 7 p.m. at Maranatha Family Center in Cheraw, which consists of two various classes.

“There will be two one hour classes. The first session will be “Man on three dimensions, which reflects on the spirit, soul and body. It is designed to help Bible students understand how God can use them in his or her life,” said Usher. Usher, who has over 37-years of intense biblical study, will conduct the first course.

“The second class will be a DVD course, taught by national speaker and historian, David Barton. It is designed to teach Bible students about the importance of God in the formation of our nation. Bible students are challenged to help bring this nation back to God through prayer and faith,” he continued.

Usher concluded, “Those who may not be able to attend the evening classes, day classes may be offered providing there is enough interest.”
