MT. CROGHAN – Mr. Charles Ray Allen, 62, died Feb. 9, 2010.

Funeral services were at 2 p.m. Feb. 11, at Miller-Rivers-Caulder Funeral Home Chapel. Burial followed in the Cross Roads Baptist Church Cemetery.

Visitation was 12:30-2 p.m. Feb. 11, prior to the service at the Funeral Home

Mr. Allen was born Jan. 19, 1948 a son of the late John Daniel and Elsie Beatrice Sullivan Allen. He was a retired mechanic with SC Bus Maintenance Shop. Mr. Allen was a member of Fairview Baptist Church. Charles Ray was an avid gardener and fisherman.

Surviving is his wife, Bonnie Davis Allen of the home; a son, Charles Ray Allen, Jr. of Oxford, MS; a brother, John Daniel (Doris) Allen, Jr. of Chesterfield; and a sister, Emma Jean (Robert) Haselden of Conway.
