CHESTERFIELD – Mrs. Frances McBride Eddins, 83, died March 3, 2010.
Funeral services were at 3 p.m. March 5, at Shiloh United Methodist Church.
Burial followed in the Mt. Olivet United Methodist Church Cemetery.
Visitation was held at the home of Wayne and Nancy Eddins in Chesterfield.
Mrs. Eddins was born Aug. 21, 1926 a daughter the late Wayne and Fannie Smith McBride. She was a graduate of Cheraw High School and a homemaker. Mrs. Eddins was a member of Shiloh United Methodist Church.
Frances was preceded in death by her husband, Jack Eddins and by her two brothers, Billy and Harold McBride
Surviving is her son, Wayne (Nancy) Eddins, of Chesterfield; three daughters, Jackie (Bo) Gaskins and Judy (Jay) Oliver of Chesterfield, and Dr. Jane (Gary) Hogan of Greenville; a sister, Barbara (R.P.) Presson of Chesterfield; seven grandchildren, Andy (Kim) Gaskins, Lisa Smith, Amy Gaskins, and Rebekah Oliver all of Chesterfield, Carol Oliver of Florence, Stephen (Lyles) Eddins of Charlotte, N.C., and Scott Eddins of Columbia; six great-grandchildren, Brandon Smith, Trent Smith, Gracyn Gaskins, Will Gaskins, Bryton Gaskins, and Coleman Eddins.
