CHESTERFIELD – David Ray Caulder, 64, died April 1, 2010.

The family received friends 6-8 p.m. April 4, at Kiser Funeral Home, Cheraw. A funeral service was held 4 p.m. April 5, at Kiser Funeral Home, Cheraw. Burial will be in Faith Fellowship Church Cemetery, Wallace.

David was a son of the late Joe and Ruth Williams Caulder. He was a U.S. Navy Vietnam Veteran and a Veteran of the South Carolina Army National Guard. He enjoyed being with friends. He loved animals.

He was preceded in death by a sister, Brenda Fincher.

Surviving are his daughters, Michelle (Alan) Fuller of Ellerbe, N.C., Amy (Joe) Rainwater of Wallace; grandchildren, Tyler Graves and Kylie Rainwater; a brother, Robert Purvis of Chesterfield; and a sister, Betty Gainey of Hartsville.
