PAGELAND – Mrs. Parthine Covington Raley, 70, died Aug. 4, 2010.

Funeral services were at 3 p.m. Aug. 9, at Mount Harmon Missionary Baptist Church, Pageland. Burial was held in the church cemetery.

Mrs. Raley daughter of the late Carson Covington and Virginia Mae Sturdivant Covington was born Aug. 7, 1939.

Surviving are three daughters, Shirley Hill (Ellison), Wadesboro, N.C., Pattie Blakeney (Bobby), Clara Raley-Dameron (Bobby), both of Pageland; a stepdaughter, Teresa Hickmon (JB), Pageland; a son, Willie Lee Raley, Pageland; a sister, Della Julius (Leroy), Trenton, N.J.; two brothers, Thomas Covington (Rose), Columbia, and Clarence Covington, Monroe, N.C.; 19 grandchildren, 30 great-grandchildren, two aunts, two uncles, and other relatives and friends.

Flemming Funeral Home-Pageland was in charge of arrangements.
