CHERAW – Mr. Ronnie Polson, 59, died Sept. 16, 2010.

Graveside services were at 3 p.m. Sept. 19, at Pleasant Hill Baptist Church Cemetery.

Visitation was 6:30-8:30 p.m. Sept. 18, at Miller-Rivers-Caulder Funeral Home, Chesterfield.

Mr. Polson was born June 28, 1951, a son of Doris Polson Hudson and the late Melvin Polson. He was a retired employee of Jackson Oil Company with 38 years of service, and a member of Pleasant Hill Baptist Church. Ronnie was a true family man, and enjoyed watching NASCAR racing and spending time with his dogs.

Surviving are two sons, Ronald Tad (Jennifer) Polson of Cheraw, and Nathaniel Polson of the home; his mother, Doris (David B.) Hudson of Cheraw; a brother, Melvin Eugene (Agnes) Polson of Cheraw; a sister, Lexie (Jerry) Lewis of Chesterfield; three grandchildren, Melany, Asheton, and Dakota Polson; and siblings, Shannon Polson of Chesterfield, Derreljean Lewis of Texas, and Gene Polson of Cheraw, SC

Miller-Rivers-Caulder Funeral Home was in charge of arrangements.
