The annual Taste of Chesterfield was held Sept. 25 at the home of J. Calvin and Catherine Rivers. Individuals attending the event were able to sample a variety of foods provided by local businesses and industries as well as enjoy live musical entertainment by the NewTown Prophets. Some of the businesses sponsoring tables included the Sheriff’s Department, Studio 136, Rivers Edge Restaurant, The Dizzy Lizzard, Stroud’s ABC, Piggly Wiggly, Sweet Sisters Bakery, Chesterfield General Hospital, and Savannah’s.
