Mr. and Mrs. Roger Parsons of Hemingway, announce the engagement of their daughter, Mindy Alaina Parsons, to Matthew Carlisle Kimrey, the son of Mr. and Mrs. Cecil Kimrey of Wallace.The bride-elect is the granddaughter of Mr. and Mrs. Wylie Coker and Blondell Parsons Williams and the late John O. Parsons all of Hemingway. She will graduate from Francis Marion University in December with a Bachelor of Arts in English.The groom-elect is the grandson of Louise Cox Hughes and the late William Carlisle Hughes of Hemingway and the late Johnnie Franklin Kimrey and Beatrice Grant Kimrey of Wallace. He is a graduate of Francis Marion University and holds a Bachelor of Business Administration in Management. He is currently working on his Master of Business Administration at Francis Marion University and is employed with ArborOne in Florence.A wedding is planned for Nov. 20, at Greenwood Baptist Church in Florence.
