Fairy Mink Keith, 95, died Thursday, Oct. 18, 2012.
Funeral services were held Sunday, Oct. 21, at Ruby Baptist Church.
Interment followed in the Ruby Cemetery.
Visitation was Sunday, Oct. 21, prior to the service in the church fellowship hall.
Keith was born May 28, 1917, in Grayson, Va., a daughter of the late Joe Euphrates and Jincie Wells Mink. She was a U.S. Postal Service employee for many years, having served as a Clerk, and retired as a Rural Carrier. She was a faithful member of Ruby Baptist Church for more than 35 years. Keith enjoyed her daily walks to the post office and reading. In addition to her parents, Fairy was also preceded in death by her husband, J. C. “Mack” Keith and by three brothers and three sisters.
Survivors include one son, Clifton (Darlene) Keith of Ruby, granddaughter, Jena (Austin) Owen of Cheraw and one sister, Clover Hill of High Point, N.C.
