Mark your calendar for this Saturday’s Christmas Fest in downtown Cheraw. The 100 block of Market Street will be blocked off. The fun starts at 11 a.m., fireworks at 5:30 p.m. and on stage play at 7:30 p.m.
The day’s festivities will include:
• 11 a.m. Movie-Whoville Meets Cheraw-ville
• Reindeer Games (Rudolph’s Turbo Tubs, Dashier’s Dashaway Slide, Blitzen’s Bounce House)
• A Real “Christmas Carousel” Ride
• The Polar Express Train Ride
• Music throughout the day
• Pictures with Santa
• Face painting
• Holiday Bake Shop
• Food vendors
• Roving Christmas Characters-Frosty, Rudolph-bring cameras
• Merchants open house and Christmas Sales
• Christmas Trees displayed by Merchants at Centennial Park
• Horse Drawn Carriage Rides
• Fireworks at 5:30 p.m.
• On stage play at 7:30 p.m.
