Janice Merline Raffaldt, 63, died Thursday, Nov. 29, 2012.
A funeral service was held at Sunday, Dec. 2, at Thompson Creek Baptist Church. Interment followed in the church cemetery.
Visitation was Saturday, Dec. 1, at Miller-Rivers-Caulder Funeral Home.
Raffaldt was born July 12, 1949, in Chesterfield, a daughter of Ruby Elizabeth Paul Raffaldt and the late Chester B. “C.B.” Raffaldt. She was a lifelong member of Thompson Creek Baptist Church. Raffaldt was a loving daughter, sister, aunt, and friend to all who knew her. In addition to her father, she was preceded in death by one brother, Fred Robert Raffaldt.
She is survived by her mother, Ruby Paul Raffaldt of the home, two sisters, Betty Faye (William) Rivers of Bel Air, Md., and Shirley (Jerry) Satterfield of Irmo, one brother, Carroll (Myrtle) Raffaldt of Chesterfield, and numerous nieces and nephews.
